Mock Interview Session-cum-Placement drive held at GCOE

Jammu: IQAC and Placement Cell of Government College of Education Jammu organized a Mock Interview Session-cum-Placement drive on the college campus, Tuesday.
Representatives of prominent schools and colleges of Jammu were invited to give students a first-hand experience of facing an interview.
The Principal of the college Dr. Jyoti Parihar welcomed the guests. She appreciated IQAC and Placement Cell for organizing the event to enhance employability, skills and knowledge of students, which will help them to succeed in the professional world.
Chief Coordinator, DPS Jammu, Umesh Kumar Sharma, Vinay Khajuria from IDPS, Dr. Rakesh Kumar from YCET, Prof. Aekta Gupta, Principal from SHRM School, Pankaj Khajuria, Sr. Journalist, Greater Jammu, Dr. Mohammad Zubair Kales, Dean School of Education, Cluster University of Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Kumar from GDC Sunderbani, Dr. Niharika Panda from School of Teacher Education, Cluster University of Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Bharti, GCOE Jammu were the panelists in the morning session.
Dr. Shalini Rana, Prof. Balwan Singh, Dr. Suraj Parkash and Dr. Ambica Sharma were the panelists for the evening session.
The event was organized by Dr. Shalini Rana, IQAC Convener, Prof. Balwan Singh, Member, Placement Cell, Dr. Rakesh Bharti, Convenor, ITEP, Dr. Suraj Parkash, HOD Urdu and Rama Kant under the supervision of Dr. Rajinder Kour, coordinator B.Ed and M.Ed.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation of candidates from across the Jammu Province showcasing the college’s commitment to bridge the gap between academics and job readiness.
The students of GCOE Jammu Dhanu Sharma, Anadika Thakur, Diksha Balotra, Sneha Charak and Saiyushi Verma played a vital role in organizing the event.
