DC Kulgam visits District Hospital

Urges the Executing agencies for early completion of projects

KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today visited District Hospital Kulgam to take stock of ongoing health projects in the hospital.

During the visit, DC passed instructions of expediting work in District Hospital including on extension of 50 bedded emergency critical care unit, additional block for maternity and child health, renovation and upgradation of main District hospital building, new Ticketing counter, IHIP lab, DNB hostel and a dedicated space for autopsy room.

He also interacted with patients and enquired about the facilities being provided in the hospital.

It was informed that under Distt capex budget upgradation plan 2024, works (civil and allied) at an estimated cost of 261.73 lacs are currently going on in full swing to fill the infrastructural gaps.

On the occasion Medical Superintendent paid gratitude to DC for upgrading the infrastructure in the hospital including installation of digital X-ray plant, Anesthesia station, orthopedic surgery theatre and machinery for Dialysis centre.

DC was accompanied by ADC, Viqar Ahmed Giri; ACR Kulgam, M.S D.H Kulgam, Executive Engineer PWD Kulgam, DEIC team, AEEs and administrative staff of DH Kulgam.
