SRINAGAR: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to facilitate the work of erection 13 mtr long ST Poles of 33 KV Budgam SIDCO Tapline for 2×1.6 MVA of ESIC Hospital opp. Nift Ompora, shutdown of 33 KV Budgam SIDCO Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at SIDCO, Railway Station, Budgam shall remain off while power supply to Ompora, SIDCO, NIFT, Housing Colony and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 31 May, 2025.

Meanwhile in per a separate shutdown schedule issued here from the office of Chief Engineer, KPDCL, in order to carry out Preventive maintenance works, line stabilization works and branch cutting of trees along corridor of lines, shutdown of several 33KV lines shall be carried out which will subsequently affect power supply to various areas.

In this connection, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina KP Bagh line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Rakhi Arth shall remain off while power supply to Rakhi Arth, Hamdania Colony, Sabdan and adjoining areas area will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 01 June, 2025.

Also, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina Exhibition line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at GIS Batamaloo, Tengpora, Court Complex shall remain off while power supply to Court Complex, Batamaloo, Bus Adda, Moominabad, Gund Rashi Colony B, Bemina and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 01 June, 2025.

Further, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina-I & Bemina-II line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Bemina-I & Bemina-II shall remain off while power supply to Hamdania Colony, HIG/ MIG Colony, Nundresh Colony, Hamza Colony, Sir Syed Abad, Qamarwari, Chatabal, SK Colony, Tauhedabad, Bemina, Court Complex, Mandi and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 01 June, 2025.

Likewise, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina JVC line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at JVC, PC Depot, SKIMS, Children Hospital shall remain off while power supply to JVC Hospital, Children Hospital, State Motor Garage, Hajj House, Forensic Lab, Qamarwari, Baranpather and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 01 June, 2025.

Moreover, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina-Karan Nagar line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Karan Nagar, Shalistore shall remain off while power supply to Chatabal, Balgarden, Zaldagar, Police lines, Civil Secretariat, SMHS, Gole Market, Guru Bazar, Tankipora, Shaheed Gunj and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 01 June, 2025.

Additionally, the shutdown of 33KV Bemina-Barbarshah line, 33 KV Bemina-Fatehkadal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Fateh Kadal, Khayam, Barbarshah, Basant Bagh shall remain off while power supply to Fateh Kadal, Khayam, Barbarshah, Basant Bagh and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 01 June, 2025.
