Kulgam: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Wednesday convened a meeting at DC Office complex here to review the progress of the key indicators taken up under Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP).
During the meeting, DC evaluated the current status of key performance indicators across several sectors, utilizing data from relevant portals.
The sectors reviewed included Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and Allied Services, Basic Infrastructure, Drinking Water, Sanitation, and Social Development.
DC emphasized on strict adherence to guidelines of the programs and regular updating of data on the portal to reflect accurate progress on the dashboard.
In a focused directive, DC instructed the Block Development Officer Manzgam to engage with other departments to personally monitor the progress of all the indicators.
He stressed the necessity for concerned officers to enhance efforts in areas requiring improvement.
He called for immediate action to elevate the performance indicators and achieve 100% saturation by ending June 2025.
DC underscored the importance of channeling resources towards the modernization and overall development of the aspirational blocks and panchayats.
