Armed Police Hqrs issues promotion orders of 601 Armed Police Personnel

Srinagar: ADGP Armed J&K Anand Jain issued promotion orders of 601 Police Personnel having their lien and seniority with J&K Armed Police.
Among the 601 promotions, 212 Head-Constables have been promoted to the rank of ASI, 326 Sg. Constables have been promoted to the rank of Head-Constables and 63 Constables have been promoted to the rank of Sg. Constables. The promotion orders were issued by Armed Police Headquarters J&K Srinagar after the Departmental Promotion Committee headed by DIG Armed/IR Range Jammu found them fit for next promotions in light of prescribed promotion norms.
Besides, the DPC headed by Vinod Kumar Dy. Inspector General of Police Armed/IR Range Jammu as its chairman comprised of Sandeep Wazir AIG (Pers) PHQ J&K, Anita Sharma Commandant IRP-Ist Bn, Mumtaz Ahmad Commandant IRP-12th Bn., Abrar Ahmad Choudhary Commandant IR-14th Bn. & Anil Dev Jamwal CPO APHQ J&K.
On this occasion Anand Jain, ADGP Armed J&K, while congratulating the newly promoted Personnel, wished good luck to the promotees and their families, and hoped that this promotion will rejuvenate them to work with renewed dedication and enthusiasm and they will demonstrate a new vigor and commitment towards their assigned duties.
