Dhul Hijjah Crescent Not Sighted in J&K, Eid-ul-Adha on June 7: Grand Mufti J&K

Srinagar: Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, on Tuesday evening announced that the crescent marking the beginning of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah was not sighted anywhere in the Union Territory.

Speaking to media persons in Srinagar Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam as per news agency JKNS said, “No credible testimony regarding the moon sighting was received from any part of Jammu and Kashmir.
