Centre Approves Extension of Deputation for Two IRS Officers in J&K

New Delhi, May 18 (JKNS): The appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the continuation of deputation tenures for two Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

As per an order a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for continuation of deputation tenure of Shri Raja Yaqoob Farooq, IRS (IT:2014) to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for a period up to 10.11.2025.”

In another separate order, which also lies with JKNS, reads, “The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for continuation of deputation tenure of Shri Bashir Ahmad Bhat, IRS (IT:2014) to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for a period up to 07.04.2026,” reads the order. (JKNS)
