ANANTNAG: For amicable settlement of disputes under various categories, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Anantnag under the aegis of the J&K Legal Services Authority is going to organize 2nd National Lok Adalat on Saturday, 31st May 2025 at the District Court Complex, Anantnag.
During the National Lok Adalat both pre-litigation and pending before courts shall be taken up for settlement.
The cases regarding Bank Recovery matters, MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal) cases, Labour disputes, Electricity and Water bill disputes (excluding non-compoundable cases), Matrimonial disputes, Criminal Compoundable offences and Land Acquisition cases will be taken up for settlement.
The Other Civil Disputes including Rent matters, Easementary Rights, Injunction suits, and Specific Performance suits were also taken up in the said National Lok Adalat
All concerned parties, litigants, and advocates who wish to have their cases/disputes/claims settled amicably through this Lok Adalat are asked to approach the DLSA, Anantnag or the respective Tehsil Legal Services Committees on or before 21st May 2025.
This initiative provides an effective, speedy, and cost-free alternative dispute resolution mechanism, aiming to reduce the pendency of cases and provide relief to the litigants through mutual settlement.
