Ganderbal: As part of the ongoing Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh and under the Government of India’s flagship missions — Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) and the Dharti Aaba Abhiyan, District Administration Ganderbal will be organizing a special outreach campaign for tribal communities from 15th to 30th June 2025.
The campaign aims to ensure saturation of government welfare schemes in identified tribal villages through village-level service delivery camps, covering essential services such as; Aadhaar Card enrollment, Ration Card issuance, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) health coverage, issuance of Caste Certificates, PM-KISAN registration, Jan Dhan account facilitation, and more. These camps will be held across the tribal villages of District Ganderbal. Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, in a public message, highlighted that this initiative represents a transformative step towards inclusive governance, last-mile delivery, and empowerment of tribal communities. He also shared that developmental projects worth Rs.13 crore have already been submitted to the government for approval under various tribal welfare schemes.
In addition, line departments will soon carry out a comprehensive gap analysis in the identified tribal villages. Based on these findings, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) will be prepared and submitted to the concerned ministries to address critical needs under centrally sponsored schemes.
Deputy Commissioner has appealed to all eligible tribal beneficiaries to actively participate in the upcoming service delivery camps, avail themselves of the facilities being offered, and encourage widespread community participation to ensure no one is left out.
District Administration remains committed to building an inclusive, responsive, and empowered tribal Ganderbal through sustained outreach, development, and participatory governance.
