Narbal, May 16: SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravindra Pal Singh on Friday led a traffic awareness and helmet distribution drive at Narbal Chowk, aimed at promoting road safety among two-wheeler riders. He was accompanied by DySP Traffic Mujahid Nazir during the campaign.
While heading the drive, SSP Singh as per news agency JKNS, personally distributed helmets to bikers and urged them to prioritize safety. “Don’t drive without helmets. It’s a matter of life and safety,” he told reporters at the spot.
He appealed to commuters to strictly follow traffic rules to avoid road accidents and ensure the safety of themselves and others. “Strict adherence to traffic regulations can prevent accidents and save precious lives,” he said.
The drive witnessed active participation from the public and was part of the traffic department’s ongoing efforts to enhance road discipline and minimize casualties on Kashmir’s roads. (JKNS)
