Inaugural ceremony of ESDP program under RAMP by JKEDI held at Pulwama

Pulwama: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Pulwama, Thursday launched an Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP) under Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Pampore.
The program was formally launched by Er. Aijaz Ahmad Wani, Superintendent ITI Pampore and Nafia Nazir, Range Officer (South Kashmir) JKEDI. Raiyees Manzoor, District Nodal Officer (DNO), JKEDI Pulwama, Waseem Afzal Naik (Course coordinator of the Program) & Arbin Hassan (Trainer of the Program) and faculty from ITI Pampore participated at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent ITI praised the initiative and underlined the role and importance of entrepreneurship and vocational training for tackling unemployment and a self-reliant economy.
Range Officer detailed the aims of the RAMP programme and identified the central role played by programmes like this one to promote grassroots-level entrepreneurship.
The candidates also interacted with Raiyees Manzoor, DNO JKEDI Pulwama, emphasizing the program’s significance and the extent it can empower youths through systematic training and mentorship.
The RAMP’s ESDP aim is to impart necessary business development, financial planning, and market awareness skills to prospective entrepreneurs so they can start and succeed in their businesses.
