Defence sources told news agency JKNS, “All incoming missiles were effectively intercepted and blocked by Indian Air Defence Units,” the sources confirmed, adding that the swift response averted any damage or casualties. Security agencies are assessing the attack and suspect the involvement of Pakistan’s regular forces in adopting tactics typically seen in asymmetric warfare. Sources also noted that last month, intelligence inputs confirmed a meeting in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir between Pakistani agencies and foreign operatives, hinting at growing cross-border coordination.

Details to follow. (JKNS)
