DC Poonch reviews implementation of AB-PMJAY, redressal of public grievances

11,942 individuals benefit from flagship healthcare scheme

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal on Tuesday reviewed the implementation of Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and redressal of public grievances at a meeting of District Grievance Redressal Committee (DGRC) of the Health Department.
During the meeting, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Parvaiz Khan briefed the chair that all three registered grievances, one received through the JK Samadhan portal and two via the CPGRAMS portal have been resolved.
The chair was also briefed that 11,942 beneficiaries have received treatment in public empanelled hospitals across the District under the Golden Card initiative. An amount of Rs 1,71,28,696 has been received from the State Health Agency to support these services.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the Health Department for effective implementation of AB-PMJAY and timely redressal of public grievances. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and ensuring accessible services for all.
The meeting was attended by Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Dr. Nusrat-ul-Nisa, Block Medical Officer Mandi, Dr. Riyaz Jan, District Coordinator State Health agency Dr Tanweer Malik and District Information System Manager Dr Parvez.
