Poonch: A meeting was convened on Saturday by Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal and Senior Superintendent of Police Shafakat Hussain, bringing together civil society members to discuss pressing developmental challenges in the Sub Division Mendhar. The gathering served as a platform for community feedback and collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing local conditions.
In attendance were local SDM Imran Kataria, Tehsildar Rahul Basotra, Executive Engineers, SDPO, SHO and other officers.
Participants voiced a range of concerns, seeking augmentation of water supply, rationalization of ration depots, adequate medical facilities, and other developmental needs.
The meeting emphasized the importance of unity and communal harmony, with attendees reaffirming their commitment to support the administration in addressing these challenges. Deputy Commissioner attentively listened to the concerns raised, assuring participants that their issues would be prioritized. He highlighted the administration’s dedication to the district’s development and the critical role of cooperation in fostering communal harmony.
SSP stressed the importance of safety and security for all residents, calling for collaboration as a fundamental element in building a peaceful community.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to work together for the betterment of the district ensuring that the voices of the community are heard and acted upon.
