Budgam : Following directions of Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Executive Chairman, JK Legal Services Authority, a meeting of Judicial Officers of District Budgam was held under the chairmanship of O.P Bhagat, Pr. District & Sessions Judge and Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, (DLSA) Budgam, here.
Yahaya Firdous, Additional District and Session Judge Budgam, Imran Hussain Wani Sub-Judge/Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam, Nusrat Ali Hakak Sub Judge/Secretary District Legal Services Authority Budgam, Easar ul Nabi Shah Special Mobile Magistrate Budgam and Tasneem Kawoosa Munsiff/JMIC Budgam attended the meeting in person while Iqbal Rafiq Vakeel Sub judge, Chadoora, Nazia Hassan Munsiff/JMIC Budgam, Rabiya Snober Gulzar Munsiff Magam, Aiman Aiman Munsiff/JMIC Char-i-Sharif and owfeel Ahmad Mir Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Beerwah attended the meeting virtually.
During the meeting, Chairman DLSA stressed upon all Judicial officers to identify the maximum number of pending court cases for their amicable settlement in the upcoming National Lok Adalat scheduled on 10th of May, 2025.
He emphasized upon all officers to focus on old cases and identify these cases for the said National Lok Adalat. He also stressed to identify Civil Suits, Matrimonial disputes, 138 NI Act cases etc, where there is an element of settlement for the said National Lok Adalat so that the cases of more and more litigants can be amicably resolved.
