The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when a fishing boat overturned during strong winds, throwing two fishermen into the lake. One of them, Abdul Majeed Khosa, was rescued soon after, but Chopan could not be traced despite hours of search.

Teams from SDRF, assisted by other local agencies, retrieved the body after a coordinated operation early this morning. The incident has sent a wave of grief through the Rainawari locality, where both men belonged. (JKNS)
