Jammu, Apr 30 (JKNS): A young man was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in Rathana village of Arnia Jammu district on Wednesday.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Sikandar, resident of Rathana village. The body was spotted hanging from a tree, following which police were informed.

Police teams reached the spot, retrieved the body, and took it into custody. It was later shifted to a hospital for post-mortem, officials added.

Meanwhile, a police officer told JKNS that a case has been registered and investigation has been initiated. “While it appears to be a suicide, all possible angles are being looked into.” (JKNS)
