Jammu: Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar Vaishya Saturday conducted inspection of the ongoing Girdawari registration process in Tehsils Arnia and Bishnah.
He was accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner Sher Singh and Chief Executive Officer Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency Rupesh Kumar, who also holds the charge of Director Social Welfare Jammu.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of Girdawari entries and emphasised the importance of accuracy and transparency in the process.
In a surprise inspection, CEO JaKeGA, Rupesh Kumar, took cognizance of overcharging by a Common Services Centre (CSC) and immediately suspended its license.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that strict action would be taken against any irregularities and instructed field functionaries to maintain utmost transparency and accountability in public service delivery.
