Soon after the fire broke out, a police team rushed to the spot and, with the help of locals, managed to control the flames, preventing further damage to nearby structures.

Locals have appealed to the administration to provide immediate compensation to the affected family, citing their poor financial condition and Khadim Hussain’s disability.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
