Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Friday chaired a meeting at the Mini Secretariat Bandipora to discuss the formulation of the District Capex Budget Action Plan for the financial year 2025-26.
The meeting discussed threadbare department-wise action plans proposed under the District Capex Budget.
District officers of various departments presented their proposed works, outlining developmental priorities and project requirements.
While addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner M.A.Qadri directed all departments to accord top priority to ongoing works under the Capex plan to ensure their timely completion and continued progress.
He stressed the need for tangible asset creation that can have a lasting developmental impact at the grassroots level.
Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned officers to ensure that all proposed works are free from any land disputes thereby facilitating smooth and timely execution.
He emphasized coordinated approach among departments and called for early submission of the finalized Action Plan to be incorporated in the District Capex Budget 2025-26.
Among others the meeting was attended by District Programme Officer ICDS, Yaar Ali Khan, Divisional Forest Officer Bandipora Waseem Farooq Mir, Joint Director Planning Mohammad Maqbool Lone, Executive Engineers of R&B, Jal Shakti, PDD, District officers of various Departments and other concerned.
