Kishtwar : Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar and Inspector General of Police Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti on Thursday arrived here to take stock of the law and order situation.
The Div Com and IGP convened a meeting with officers from the Police, Army and Civil Administration.
The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the security arrangements and the overall law and order situation in the District. Necessary directions were issued to ensure safety and security in the district.
Later, the Div Com reviewed the ongoing arrangements for the annual Machail Mata Yatra.
The Divisional Commissioner took a comprehensive review of the facilities being put in place for the smooth annual pilgrimage. He assessed provision of power, water supply, accommodation, transportation and other facilities.
