“Nainara Island Can Be a Tourist Gem, Govt Must Act”: Sonawari Locals

Bandipora:- 24/April:-Despite significant investment by the Mansbal Development Authority, Residents of Sonawari have called upon the government to further beautify the island in Nainara, situated on the banks of Mansbal Lake in Bandipora district.

Qawam ud Din Shilvati, Resident Said that the island has been developed to some extent, attracting visitors, but Qawam Ud Din believe further beautification could enhance its appeal.

Now the Residents have requested government intervention to upgrade the island’s infrastructure and aesthetics, transforming it into a major tourist destination. This initiative, they argue, would not only boost local tourism but also contribute to the region’s economic development.
