Pulwama: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom, on Monday reviewed the arrangements for the forthcoming NEET (UG) Examination in a comprehensive meeting convened at the Administrative Complex Pulwama.
During the meeting, DC received a detailed briefing on various logistical and security measures being implemented at all designated NEET examination centres across the district. The session began with a presentation highlighting key aspects of the examination and the guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Centre Superintendents from the designated centres briefed the chair about their preparedness, including infrastructural and logistical arrangements, surveillance mechanisms and security protocols.
DC emphasized strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the transparency, integrity and fairness of the examination process.
Dr Qayoom stressed the importance of thorough frisking procedures and directed that all training sessions for all invigilators to be conducted in batches to familiarise themselves with examination protocols. He also instructed that videographers assigned to various centres be trained to ensure standardised and proper recording of exam-day activities.
