Dir Family Welfare reviews activities in Doda Distt

Doda: To review the activities related to the Family Welfare Programme, Director Family Welfare MCH & Immunization J&K Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Rather conducted a review meeting during his official visit to Doda.
The meeting was attended by Deputy CMO Dr. Sat Lal Manhas, Principal Government ANMT School, District Mass Education & Information Officer (DMEIO), Extension Educators, staff from the ANMT School, Rural Family Welfare Centre staff, Cold Chain Handlers and ASHA Coordinators.
At the outset, Dr. Sat Lal Manhas presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation showcasing the indicator-wise progress of various components under the Family Welfare Programme.
Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Rather reviewed the indicator-wise achievements for the year 2024–25 and held discussions on key agendas. He emphasized the importance of the recently launched JK Sehat Mobile Application, urging all health personnel to not only download the app but also promote its usage up to the grassroots level among health staff.
The Director also took stock of the progress in Maternal and Child Health (MCH), Routine Immunization, and the functionality of the Government ANMT School, Doda. He issued necessary directions to intensify IEC (Information, Education & Communication) activities to enhance community awareness and stressed the need for regular supportive supervision by district and block-level tea
Dr. Rather appreciated the commendable efforts of the district health team and encouraged all officials to continue their work with renewed dedication to achieve better health outcomes for the population.
The meeting concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Sat Lal Manhas, Dy CMO Doda.
