Jammu: Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Dr. Devansh Yadav paid a visit to Trikuta Nagar Saturday to address pressing civic issues projected by the local Welfare Society.
During the visit, members of the Welfare Society met with the Commissioner and highlighted the local issues seeking measures for proper drainage of rainwater to prevent water-logging in the area, particularly during the monsoon season. They also raised concerns related to cleanliness and non-functional street lights.
Responding to the grievances, Dr. Yadav assured the residents that their genuine issues would be addressed on priority. He issued on-the-spot directions to officials of the concerned departments to take immediate action for resolving the drainage, sanitation, and lighting proble
The visit reflects JMC’s commitment to responsive governance and improving civic amenities for all residents.
Among others, various senior officers of ZC accompanied the Commissioner during the tour.
