The affected areas include Manloo, Narapora, Shadab Karewa, Keller, Mashwara, and Balpora, where farmers reported severe losses due to the intense hail that struck this afternoon.

Locals have appealed to the Department of Horticulture to immediately dispatch teams for field assessment and to provide necessary support and compensation to the affected farmers.

The sudden weather change has left many growers concerned ahead of the key harvesting season. (JKNS)
