Poonch, Apr 19 (JKNS): A minor girl was injured in a wild animal attack in the Sawjian area of Poonch district on Saturday.
An official told news agency JKNS that the incident occurred in Cholla village of Sawjian sector when a wild jackal entered the house and attacked the child.
The injured girl’s name withheld, daughter of Sakinder Ahmed, aged around 5–6 years was immediately shifted to hospital, after receiving first aid with some stitches, she was discharged, official said.
The attack created panic in the area, prompting locals to urge authorities to address the growing threat of wild animals in residential zones. (JKNS)
