Mission YUVA: 2-day Training prog for YUVA DOOT concludes at Kupwara

Kupwara: On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara and in collaboration with the district administration Kupwara, District Employment and Counseling Centre (DE&CC) Kupwara successfully conducted a two-day training programme under Mission YUVA.
The event aimed to empower and equip the nominated YUVA DOOTS with essential knowledge and skills to guide youth in career development and employment opportunities effectively.
The programme commenced with a comprehensive overview of the training agenda provided by Arshid Qadir Bhat, Assistant Director Employment, Kupwara. He emphasized the significance of Mission YUVA in fostering youth employment and entrepreneurship in the district.
An overview of various components of Mission YUVA, including skill development initiatives, job placement support, and government employment schemes was presented by Employment Officer Kupwara.
Career Counselling Officer, Kupwara deliberated on IEC techniques to cater to the underserved and un-aware populace of the district who want to start their own enterprises under Mission YUVA.
Nodal Officer, JKEDI (Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute) highlighted entrepreneurial opportunities, startup support, and financial assistance available under the Mission YUVA scheme which can be availed through the Mission YUVA App.
The training included hands-on workshops, group discussions, and Q&A rounds to ensure active participation and practical understanding among the YUVA DOOTS.
Participants were encouraged to collaborate with DECC Kupwara to implement learning at the grassroots level, ensuring maximum outreach and impact.
Functional Manager, DIC Kupwara and officials/officers from Agriculture Department Kupwara were also present at the training programme.
Asstt Director DE&CC Kupwara urged Yuva DOOTS to serve as catalysts in bridging the gap between job seekers and employment opportunities.
