Kishtwar: A significant milestone was achieved on Saturday in the development of infrastructure for Shree Machail Mata Yatra with the commencement of construction work on a vital Bridge at Chishoti in Padder.
The construction kick started in the presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate Paddar, Dr. Amit Kumar, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Shavan. The long-awaited construction, which had faced delays due certain disputes at the proposed site, was resumed after the issue was resolved with the intervention of district administration.
The collaborative efforts of key stakeholders, including Tehsildar Rafie Naik, SDPO and Executive Engineer PMGSY and his team were instrumental in overcoming the hurdles that had delayed the bridge construction.
The completion of the Chishoti Bridge will be a game-changer for the Machail Mata Yatra 2025.
Once finished, the bridge will reduce the travel distance by nearly 2 kilometers, significantly enhancing the convenience and safety of pilgrims while traveling to the revered Machail Mata Shrine.
This development is expected to streamline travel routes, providing a smoother, more efficient experience for both pilgrims and commuters.
