Jammu/Poonch: A ceasefire violation was reported from Pakistan in Poonch and Akhnoor sectors of Jammu last night.

Offical sources told news agency JKNS that Pakistan once again violated the ceasefire and opened fire at several places in the LoC (Line of Control) Poonch sector at Friday late night.

To which India gave a befitting reply, while there was no injury reported in Poonch sector.

They said that Ceasefire violations by Pakistan continued till late night in the Poonch Sector while no injuries have been reported so far in these firing incidents.

He, however, said that a JCO was killed during exchange of fire in Akhnoor sector of Jammu.—(JKNS)
