Property worth ?3.47 Cr attached in UAPA Case in G’bal: Police

Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal on Thursday said that it attached immovable property in the form of Agricultural Land measuring 9 Kanals and 7 Marlas worth 3 Crores and 47 Lakhs of 3 individuals who have illegally exfiltrated to Pakistan for obtaining illegal Arms and Ammunition training. The order was passed by Court of Additional Session Judge Ganderbal vide Case FIR No.48/2009 U/S 13 ULAP Act of Police Station Kheerbawani.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that three individuals whose properties were attached belonged to Firdous Ahmad Wani S/o Late Gh Ahmad Wani R/o Treesa Safapora, Mohd Ramzan Bhat S/o Late Gh Rasool Bhat R/o Batpora Safapora and Mohd Ayoub Ganie S/o Late Gh Rasool Ganie R/o Pahlipora Safapora.
In the concluding paa of its above quoted statement police said that this decisive step is part of ongoing efforts to act tough against individuals falling under the purview of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) reiterating therein its commitment to continue unhindered efforts against people involved in activities detrimental to public safety and national security.
