RAMBAN: State Bank of India’s Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban continues its mission to empower rural communities by organising a Soft Toys Maker & Seller training Programme at Heman Karma (Dhalwas) village.
The inauguration ceremony was held with great enthusiasm and amid participation from local trainees and community members.
The event commenced with the lighting of traditional lamp by Director SBI RSETI Ramban Harvinder Singh. In his inaugural address, the Director emphasized the importance of skill-based training in today’s competitive world and encouraged the trainees, especially women, to take full advantage of the opportunity provided by RSETI.
The Director highlighted how SBI RSETI continues to support self-reliance by offering free training, boarding, and lodging facilities. He also elaborated on post-training handholding support and assistance in accessing bank credit for those interested in starting their ventures.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the signature RSETI Claps, led by Faculty Member Sh. Rakesh Kumar, symbolizing unity, energy, and collective motivation of the group.
The 10-day training program aims to equip local participants with practical skills in designing, stitching, and marketing soft toys. Participants will also be guided on entrepreneurship fundamentals, pricing, branding, and linking with local markets or exhibitions for product sales.
