JAMMU: Director School Education Jammu Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary today chaired the maiden meeting with the officials of Jammu Division to review the implementation of intervention schemes and components across the districts.
The Director stressed to ensure the academic excellence in Government Schools and called for effective implementation of the recommendations of NEP2020 in the stipulated time frame. He also highlighted the importance of experiential and inquiry-based learning and the role of technology in improving education.
The discussions encompassed the issues related to Human Resource Management with special focus on RETs, Contingent Paid Workers, Timely conduct of DPCs and one time exemption to officials who acquired higher qualification without permission. Directions were issued for timely action/ resolution on all these matters.
The Director directed the CEO to ensure the availability of all the Basic facilities like Drinking Water & Toilet, Electricity and other facilities in schools in their respective districts.
Other significant issues/points like teacher training, student performance, Court Cases, and the development of kindergartens were also discussed.
The DSEJ stressed the need to improve academic standards and ensure quality education for all students. The Chief Education Officers provided updates about their districts, discussed the current status of schools, teachers and students, along with challenges being faced by them in the district.
The Director appreciated their efforts and encouraged them to continue working hard to strengthen the education system in Jammu Division.
“We are committed to providing a strong foundation for the students and ensuring access to quality education,” said the Director. “All functionaries of SED must work diligently to ensure the effective delivery of services and good governance to the public. He added
The meeting was attended by Ms Subah Mehta (Joint Director SED), Mr. Dhirender Sharma (Joint Director SED) Ms. Manisha (Personal Officer) Ms. Monika Bhandari (CAO DSEJ) Mr. DP Chibber (Sr Law Officer DSEJ) Deputy Director Mr. Anjum Aga along with all CEOs of Jammu Division.
