SRINAGAR: In a heartfelt message to the residents of Srinagar, Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed, has conveyed his best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival, marking the end of Ramadan, is a celebration of compassion, unity, and gratitude.
“Eid-ul-Fitr is a time for reflection and community bonding,” Dr. Owais stated. “May this festival inspire us all to embrace the spirit of compassion and togetherness, fostering strong ties within our community.”
To ensure a joyful and clean environment for the celebrations, the SMC has initiated several measures aimed at enhancing cleanliness and sanitation across the city. These efforts include thorough cleaning drives, improved waste management, and an uninterrupted water supply to meet the needs of residents during this festive time.
“We are committed to providing a clean and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy their celebrations without concern,” the Commissioner added.
On the auspicious day of Eid-ul-Fitr, Dr. Owais wished all citizens a blessed celebration filled with happiness, peace, and prosperity.
