J&K High Court Bar Association Hosts Iftar Party in Srinagar, Graced by Hon’ble Judges and Legal Luminaries

Srinagar: J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar Kashmir on Friday hosted a Daawat-I-Iftar party at the Amar Singh Club in Srinagar.

An official spokesperson said the party was graced by the Judges of Hon’ble High Court , including Hon’ble Justice Javid Iqbal Wani, Hon’ble Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, and members of the CAT Srinagar, including Hon’ble M S Latif, Member J, and Hon’ble Prasant Kumar, Member A, alongside other distinguished guests.

The event, organized by the J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar Kashmir, brought together legal luminaries for an evening of camaraderie and communal harmony.

Among the attendees were judges from the High Court, Central Administrative Tribunal Srinagar, and Subordinate Judiciary, along with designated senior advocates and members of the Bar Association.

Senior Additional Advocate General Mohsin Ul Showkat Qadri, along with other law officers, also honoured the occasion with their presence.

The spokesperson said the underlying spirit behind this gathering was to celebrate the cherished values of our nation, encapsulated by unity in diversity, brotherhood, and secularism. As Ramzan, the holy month of fasting in Islamic tradition, continues, the Dawat-I-Iftar party served as a symbol of solidarity and inclusivity.

“Such gatherings not only foster community bonds but also promote understanding and respect for different cultural practices.”
