SRTC Bus Accident Inside Banihal-Qazigund Tunnel, Casualties Feared

Banihal: An accident occurred inside the Banihal-Qazigund (Navyug) tunnel on Wednesday evening.

An official told news agency JKNS that the accident involved a Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) bus that was coming from Jammu towards Srinagar.

He said casualties are feared in the accident, and rescue teams have been rushed to the spot.

Authorities have begun assessing the situation and launched rescue operations inside the tunnel.
