Pulwama Police Conducted Searches to Probe Against Banned Outfit Tahreek-e-Huriyat

Pulwama: Continuing its efforts to curb unlawful activities and dismantle the terror ecosystem, Pulwama Police conducted searches at multiple locations across the district in connection with the investigation of proscribed organization Tahreek e Huriyat.

Police Spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNS reads, the searches were carried out in connection with Case FIR No. 08/2024 under UAPA registered at Police Station Pulwama, pertaining to banned organization Tahreek e Huriyat.

The operations were conducted at the houses and premises of suspected OGWs and activists in Nowpora Payeen, Litter, Galbugh, and Kakapora, it reads.

Pulwama Police remains committed to maintaining peace and security in the district. Stringent action will continue to be taken against unlawful elements to ensure the safety and stability of the region, reads the statement. (JKNS)
