City Municipal Commissioner Jammu tours Sainik Colony area

Jammu: Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Dr. Devansh Yadav on Monday conducted an extensive tour of Ward No. 69 and 70 in Sainik Colony to assess the development of civic amenities, including civil works, up-gradation of drainage system and desilting of nallas in the area.
During the visit, Dr. Yadav interacted with locals to gather feedback on essential municipal services such as street lighting and door-to-door garbage collection. He emphasized the need for efficient services delivery and assured the public that their grievances would be addressed promptly.
The Commissioner also inspected ongoing projects under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP) and directed the concerned officers to expedite the work while maintaining high standards. He instructed officials to resolve public concerns in the shortest possible time and work diligently for the betterment of the area.
Among others, Joint Commissioner (Health and Sanitation) Abdul Star, Executive Engineer (Div. 5) Lokesh Gupta, Executive Engineer (E) Simarpal Singh and Chief Transport Officer S. Dharamveer Singh, accompanied the Commissioner.
