Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament: 10 participants selected on the conclusion of District Level Round

Selectees to represent Anantnag Nodal District in the UT Level Championship to be organized in the J&K Legislative Assemblye

Anantnag: The Day-2 of the final-leg of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 (VBYP-2025), District Level Round was organized in the seminar hall of Shaheed Himayun Muzzamil Memorial, Govt. Degree College (SHMM-GDC) Anantnag on Saturday.
The event was presided over by Prof. Muzafar Ahmad Bhat as chief guest, and Principal SHMM-GDC Anantnag, 32 participants comprising both boys and girls from the GDCs of the Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian Districts (GDC Shopian, GDC Women Pulwama, GDC Tral, GDC Pampore, GDC Awantipora, and Non-Student Young Professionals) deliberated and presented their talks on the topic – “One Nation, One Election – Paving the Way for Viksit Bharat”.
Dr Naveen Hakhoo (Nodal Officer and Organizing Secretary VBYP-2025) presented the event structure.
Five participants were selected by the Jury on Day 1 (20-03-2025), and 5 more were selected on Day 2. A total of 10 participants have been selected at the conclusion of the VBYP-2025 District Level Round, to represent the Anantnag Nodal District in the State Level Championship to be organized in the State Legislative Assembly.
Dr. Sartaj Ahmad Ganie (Co-Organizing Secretary VBYP-2025) presented the formal vote-of-thanks. The programme was moderated by Prof. Rohit Ul Bashir, AP, SHMM-GDC Anantnag.
