Scooty Theft Case Solved, Accused Arrested in Domana

Jammu :,Police in Jammu on Friday said that the Domana Police have successfully solved a scooty theft case and recovered the stolen vehicle within two days of the incident.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office Jammu, Police said that on March 19, 2025, a complaint was lodged by Neeraj Kumar, son of Krishna Raj Sharma, a resident of Muthi, stating that his scooty (JK02DD/8387) was stolen on the night of March 18, 2025, from outside Sharma Sweet Shop, Muthi. Acting swiftly, the police registered an FIR No. 75/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS at Police Station Domana and launched an investigation. On March 20, 2025, the police arrested the accused, identified as Vishav Dogra, son of Raj Kumar, a resident of Chandan Vihar, Muthi. During interrogation, the accused disclosed the location of the stolen scooty, which was subsequently recovered. The police have initiated further legal proceedings, and the accused remains in custody. The swift and efficient action of the police has been widely appreciated by the locals.
