Doda: The District Administration Doda on Tuesday organized a training session for the selected Hajj pilgrims at Astan Masjid Sharif Doda to familiarize them with Manasik-e-Haj (Hajj rituals).
Over 82 pilgrims participated in the program, where they received detailed practical training on Hajj rituals and essential logistical procedures. The trainers provided guidance on boarding, lodging, accommodation, currency exchange, and other key aspects related to the sacred journey.
The pilgrims were also briefed about the necessary documents and luggage requirements.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, while interacting with the pilgrims, informed that 82 individuals, including women, from District Doda will be embarking on the pilgrimage this year. He assured the pilgrims of the administration’s full support in ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
The DC extended his best wishes to the pilgrims and urged them to pray for the district’s progress, the nation’s development, and for communal harmony. He also highlighted the vaccination initiatives undertaken by the administration to safeguard the health of the pilgrims during their journey.
The pilgrims expressed gratitude to the District Administration, especially DC Doda, for their cooperation and well-coordinated efforts in facilitating seamless arrangements for the pilgrimage.
