DDC Shopian reviews ongoing dev works in the Distt

SHOPIAN: For smooth and joyous celebration of religious festivals including Eid-ul-fitr and Navratra, a meeting of senior officers of district administration was today held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta at DC Office Complex, here.

At the outset, the DC took a detailed appraisal of the services to be provided by all line departments on these auspicious festivities.

The DC directed the officers of all the line departments to ensure provision of optimal and scheduled services so that devotees may not face any inconvenience during the celebration of the holy occasions.

He reviewed traffic, security, sanitation, power, water, market checking, medicare and other arrangements and instructed concerned officers to extend all facilities to the people.

Besides ADC, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, the meeting was attended by ACR, SDM Zainapora, senior officers of Police, RDD, MC, PHE, KPDCL, Health, MVD, Fire services, Information, FCS&CA, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
