IED Recovered and Destroyed in Kupwara: Army

Kupwara,: Security forces on Sunday recovered and safely destroyed an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Narikut Forest area of Kupwara, preventing a potential terror incident.

In a post on X, Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, as per news agency JKNS, wrote, “OP NARIKUT, Kupwara – #ChinarWarriors and @BSF_Kashmir averted a terror incident today by recovering and destroying an IED in the general area of Narikut Forest, Kupwara. #IndianArmy remains resolute in its commitment to keep Kashmir terror-free.”

 

Security forces have intensified search operations in the area to ensure no further threats persist. (JKNS)
