Anantnag: Three people were injured after an old shop collapsed in Chandrigam, Aishmuqam, on Friday, officials said.

An official told news agency JKNS that an old shop collapsed in Chandrigam, Aishmuqam belonging to Tariq Ahmad Pahalwan, son of Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Chandrigam.

Three persons were injured which included the shopkeeper Ibadul Hassan, along with two others, who were inside when the structure gave way.

The injured were immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital Seer, Anantnag, where they are undergoing treatment and reported to be stable, the official added.

Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and further details are awaited. (JKNS)
