JAMMU: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmad Rana, today attended the pre-primary Graduation Day of Jodhamal Public School.

While speaking on the occasion, the Minister congratulated the junior students and attributed their achievements to their hard work and the dedication of their teachers. He emphasised the importance of education as a key to unlock an individual’s potential, enabling them to become great and influential leaders.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that it is an absolute delight to be here today, celebrating a truly special milestone in the lives of these wonderful young children, their transition from kindergarten to primary school. “These young graduates are the future of our nation, full of promises and endless possibilities,” he said.

He exhorted upon the children to keep asking questions, exploring new ideas and believing in themselves.

Rana emphasized the importance of instilling physical fitness, mental alertness and spiritual highness in children to create a better society. He encouraged the school authorities to prioritize these traits in their students, recognising the crucial role school education plays in shaping young minds.

Highlighting the role of parents in overall development of a child, Rana said that their encouragement, guidance, support and sacrifices play an invaluable role in shaping the early years of a child for better.

He commended the school’s efforts in nurturing young minds, acknowledging the hard work, dedication and love invested in helping them grow into responsible and capable individuals.

“The dedicated efforts by the school management in laying a strong foundation will help these children grow into a responsible and capable individuals,” he added.

Jodhamal Public School has a reputation for excellence in Jammu and Kashmir, renowned for its commitment towards quality education.

The event was attended by school trustees, management, teachers, students, parents and civil society members.
