Budgam:- A minor girl who was kidnapped last year from Budgam has been recovered and handed over to family.
A police official told news agency JKNS that a minor girl from Magam area of Budgam was kidnapped in April last year and since then she has been missing.
He said that SSP Budgam constituted a police team last year for recovery of this minor girl and a day before police received information that the girl had been kept hidden in Magam area
He said that search operation was launched and the girl was recovered and after all legal formalities, she was handed over to legal heirs.
He said that the involved person has been held and further investigation has been taken up in this regard.—(JKNS)
