Police Conducted Comprehensive Mock Drill at Railway Stations Budgam and Mazhum

Budgam: Police in Budgam along with Army, CRPF, GRP, SSB, RPF, Health Department and Fire & Emergency Service,  conducted a comprehensive mock drill exercise at Railway Station Budgam and Mazhum to evaluate emergency response mechanisms and readiness in handling critical situations.

The mock drill was conducted under the supervision of SSP Budgam, Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS and in presence of DySP Hqrs Budgam and SDPO Magam besides, SHO Budgam and I/C SHO Magam were also present on the occasion. A team of specialist officers of Budgam Police, CAPF, RPF, Fire and emergency service participated in the said exercise.

The main motive of the mock drill was to prepare forces to respond promptly to any untoward incident especially of a terror nature with quick and safe response and to assess the security response time, coordination and effectiveness. The exercise also aimed to identify areas for improvement and streamline the response mechanism.

J&K Police reaffirms its commitment to ensuring public safety and security. The mock drill exercise is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our emergency response mechanisms and provide effective services to the community.
