Two Youths Arrested in Kulgam After Video of Clash Goes Viral

Srinagar: Police have arrested two youths for questioning after a video of their violent clash in the Sopat area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district went viral on social media.

A police officer told news agency JKNS that a police party from Police Station Devsar, led by SHO Devsar Inspector Rishi Kumar, swiftly initiated an investigation and apprehended the two individuals involved in the incident.

An FIR has been registered at Police Station Devsar under FIR No. 08, citing relevant sections of the law. The arrested individuals have been identified as Tanveer Ahmad Dar and Aqib Ahmad Ganie, both residents of Nawa Chowgam.

Police have launched a thorough investigation, and further action will be taken based on the findings.(JKNS)
