As per the list of business a copy of which is available with news agency JKNS stated, Mubarik Gul will move the motion, expressing gratitude to LG Manoj Sinha for his address in the Assembly on March 3, while Ghulam Ahmad Mir will second it.

The discussion is expected to witness a heated exchange, with opposition members raising key concerns regarding governance and public welfare.

Meanwhile, Peoples Conference chairman and MLA Sajad Gani Lone has proposed amendments to the motion, highlighting two key issues.

He has sought the inclusion of a discussion on the regularization of daily wagers, casual laborers, HDF employees, NREGA staff, and CIC operators, arguing that their plight remains unaddressed.

Additionally, he has called for a provision ensuring 200 free electricity units and 12 free gas cylinders per household in J&K.

The proposed amendments reflect growing demands from various sections of society, with opposition parties likely to push for commitments from the government on these pressing concerns.

The session is also expected to witness discussions on other matters, including developmental initiatives and governance challenges.

It is important to note that the Budget Session of the J&K Assembly began today, with LG Manoj Sinha addressed the firat day of the session. (JKNS)
