Former DIG Sheikh Hafeez Akhtar Passes Away

Srinagar: Former DIG of Kashmir and Ladakh, Sheikh Hafeez Akhtar, passed away in Srinagar after a prolonged illness.

He was the father of Sheikh Sarmad Hafeez, Commissioner Secretary of Youth Services & Sports, J&K. His demise has left the administrative and police circles mourning.
